Building Envelope Assessments

Prior to purchasing or insuring a structure an evaluation can be performed to document the condition of the exterior. Identifying problems with the roof covering, foundation, siding, and an evaluation of the construction site can provide valuable information regarding potential concerns with the condition of the materials used to prevent moisture damage to the interior of the structure. Periodic inspection and maintenance of a structure is necessary to identify potential failures of the materials used to construct a building.  Many failures within a structure begin as small problems that are not noticed until a larger problem occurs.
